Michal Stolárik, born and based in Bratislava, Slovakia, is an independent curator, art writer, and advisor. 

He graduated from the Department of History of Visual Arts at Comenius University, Bratislava, and he particularly explored contemporary art after 1989. 

Throughout his career, he has worked with various galleries and institutions, including ASHES/ASHES, New York, Label201, Rome, MAUVE, Vienna, Kunstverein, Eisentstadt, Jan Koniarek Gallery, Trnava, Kunsthalle Bratislava, DSC Gallery, Prague, Fait Gallery, Brno, Steinhauser Gallery, Bratislava, White & Weiss Gallery, Bratislava, Karpuchina Gallery, Prague, The Chemistry Gallery, Prague, VUNU, Bratislava, Zahorian & Van Espen Gallery and others. 

Stolárik's curatorial work spans diverse exhibitions, showcasing emerging and established artists, with a focus on those from Central and Eastern Europe.

He collaborates with private galleries, state institutions, and project spaces in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Italy, the USA, and Austria, engaging with a wide range of media and exploring themes of expanded forms of reality.
