Michal Stolárik, born and based in Bratislava, Slovakia, is an independent curator, writer, and advisor. 

He graduated from the Department of History of Visual Arts at Comenius University, Bratislava, and he particularly explored contemporary art after 1989. 

His curatorial practice bridges emerging and established artistic practices and engages a wide range of media, exploring expanded forms of reality, modes of ambivalence and layered narratives.​​​​​​​
